On the ground floor there is also a shower room. Fabulous marble stairs lead up to the first floor and four bedrooms comprising three twins and a double with ensuite bathroom and a shower room. A foldaway bed and/or cot could easily be accommodated. There is also a front terrace with lovely views over the fields and out to sea. Another staircase leads up to the second floor and a door gives access to the roof. The house has fans and, air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat. The air conditioning units are operated using one- and two-euro coins. Villa Kannella Lussu is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Ghasri, which has restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, and a distinctive red domed church. A short distance away is the fabulous church of Ta'Pinu that, since the rumour started in 1883 of our Lady of Ta'Pinu talking to a local, has been a pilgrim destination for many. Visitors include St John Paul 11 and Pope Benedict XV1. The Inland sea and spectacular blue hole are a short drive from here as is the local craft village. The capital of Victoria is a ten-minute drive away and a visit to the ramparts of the Citadel to see 360 views of the Island is a must.
