Reviews
I will title this review as Old Mutton, trying to dress up as a young Lamb. When i try to explain to you what we went through over the last two weeks, i will describe it to you as we experienced. The whole purpose of us going on holiday is to relax and have a stress free holiday, hopefully without the need to constantly be ringing the agents. A guy came on the Monday morning, Simon i think his name was. Asked if we had any problems, to which at this point there were non. However we noticed the external lights were not working. Rang, and a chap came, fiddled with the timer, looked at the bulbs, said it was ok, and off he went. Night came, no lights. Rang again, came out when we were out for the day, and they worked, in part. No pool lights or lights over the Hot Tub. Whilst on the Hot Tub, it was set at 41 degree, with no instructions on how you reduce it. We tried it once and it was like being boiled. Was the pool heated? If it was it was marginal. We rang about the state of the BBQ. It was unfit for purpose. Absolutely filthy. It needed a pressure wash or putting in a skip. Someone came, but did attempt to wipe it. Were we to have a Welcome Pack? There was nothing, not even a bottle of water. Were we to have cleaning of the Villa? We had to strip the beds after 7 days, place the sheets, pillowcases and towels in the plastic bags provided. This we did, went out for the day, came back, the beds had been made up, but no cleaning! Are we supposed to go on holiday, and clean the Villa ourselves? Obviously we did, having to buy all the necessary materials. Oh, and by the way, they would not take the pool towels, as they were provided by someone else. Who? We had to go to Ikea to buy towels whilst we washed those provided by the mysterious person. "Great Sea Views from the rooftop terrace" you had to be a Mountain Goat to get up a steel spiral staircase! When i looked at the photo of the terrace, with glasses of wine etc. How do you get them up there, with food. and get them back down again? I know the answer is carry them. The handrail was not fixed at the top, and gave you no confidence. The wife would not attempt it. Tiles missing, planters empty, frankly a joke. The oven was dirty, the fridge freezer was cracked inside, with bits missing. None of the external areas had been swept, there were dead leaves every where. There are other issues, but i am frankly so disappointed, words are beginning to fail me. It is not as though we paid a bargain price. In fact i see the price for next May is over 5k euros. Do you as a company inspect the properties, before you send clients there? I can only say that your agents are letting you, and the owner down. The furnishings are sparse, not up to what you would expect. Also the Wi-Fi was poor and for what it is worth the TV reception was awful. How do i send you photographic evidence? There are people who would take to Social Media, to splash comments all over the place. We are not like that. We paid a full price for what looked to be a nice place to stay. We paid the price, and was so, so disappointed with the outcome. I accept the world is a different place because of C-19, but if you had told me prior to going that we had to clean the Villa ourselves, we would not have travelled. We would have settled for the loss of the holiday.
